It's in a great location, but I wouldn't recommend it.

This is my first online review, I'm not sure if anyone associated with this business will read this (or care), but I do hope so, and someone changes this aspect about this business.

As someone who has worked in customer service MOST of my life, my shock and dismay comes from why this business would choose to use a product that stains skin and clothing blue - and the point that the only 'help' I received was being told "it washes out, don't worry" - ridiculous!

Why would someone want to pay to wash their car, then go do laundry and have a shower? I'm assuming it's the cheapest product... my request is for this business to strongly consider changing to a non-staining soap. I am unlikely to go back there after this, but from a customer service perspective this is horrible for business and holds the potential to really bite your business in the arse. I asked the young man working there to pass this along, fingers crossed. Still waiting to see if the stains came out of my clothing...

Confused and frustrated, I went to wash my hands, and after 4 full scrub downs, my finger tips were still blue. By this time my partner was able to remove the blue on the car by using the pre-soak, so that was good at least.

Blue dye that was in foam brush in the car wash dyed the 3M on our vehicle along with our skin and got on our clothes. Our vehicle is white.

NOTE: This is not an Esso station any more. It is a car wash / laundromat.

That being said - I took my car there for an interior clean and exterior wash. They did a really good job of cleaning the interior, for about half the price of a car detailing place. The exterior wasn't done quite as well, but they did make it right by providing me with a free automatic car wash. I would definitely come back to have my car done there again.

I went in for a manual wash today, and while the customer service was severely lacking in regards to proper information on cost and use, I was appalled at the soap that was used in the foam brush. It is blue in colour, and the brush was literally puking foam out, and it was splashing everywhere. I didn't think too much of this, other than it seemed like overkill for what a wash needs, but after the wash was done, I started to rinse it off and noticed it had left a stain on the hood (white paint). Then I noticed my hands and wherever it had splashed on my arms had stained blue as well. I went to ask why my car and body were now stained blue, and was told that they had never seen that on a vehicle before, but that it will wash "right off" my skin, and out of my clothing. (oh ya, it had stained my skirt and top as well).

Unfortunately I've been a few times (different stalls) and tried to give the benefit of the doubt, however, every time seems to be a waste of money. The wands are leaky and lack power, the brush spits out little soap or doesn't work at all, and the machine navigates the menu on delay all the while charging you once you've swiped your credit card. I have tried to speak with an employee, but seem to be there every time they're off (3pm?). I have attempted to call as well with no answer.

I went to speak to the woman waiting behind us to inform her of the soap, and she said she goes there quite often to wash rental cars for the company she works for. I showed her my stains and suggested she be very careful if using the foam brush. She was aware of the staining, and said she gets stained ALL THE TIME she goes there. I asked her if she thought it made sense for a car wash to use a soap that stains its' customers - guess what she said??
