  Trip Advisor has made it very hard for me to post this review. So let's hope google provides a better service. I am well informed about what happens in that kitchen yet I will keep it very simple. First of all the service has been poor for the vast majority of my visits there. Second the food is often overcooked, dry and appears to be low quality. Yes I am a long time Nelson resident who has tried the food many times over the years and it has always left me with the impression that it is one of the worst places to eat in Nelson.

  I managed to grab a room after another guest cancelled. It was the long weekend so I wasn't surprised they were full, but it quickly became apparent why it was fully booked! Relying on the natural charm loaned by Nelson this beautiful old hotel has kept it's beauty since 1913. Highly recommend The Adventure! Also the restaurant and bar downstairs are great and the staff are wonderful. Great vacation destination.

  Trendy, modern atmosphere. Clean and well cared for. Hit and miss on which view you get. Ours was a parking lot...

  This was a great hotel for a short stay. Location is perfect for exploring downtown Nelson so we were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Hotel is clean and modern. Loved the guest lounge and roof top patio. Would definitely stay here again.

  2 stars only, the room was nice and clean food is also good. The reason for a low score is that the internet is impossible to use. You can't log on and they tell you to keep trying which gets your devise blocked for 30 minutes. What hotel in 2017 does not have working wifi

  Great access to exploring Nelson. I’m not sure if there’s an elevator as we had to carry our bags up stairs.
