  We had our wedding there in October, and though it was beautiful, the people that run the place and the groundskeepers are terrible at communication and we didn't feel supported through the year long process. We enjoyed our time, but be weary of the logistical side of it. Hopefully this improves. If you were just staying there for the bed and breakfast side of it, it is lovely. I think they need to improve their wedding management.

  Pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful hostess & hoste. Awesome breakfast. Clean rooms, beautiful grounds. I would go again.

  Comfortable room, with a great games room and comfortable fireplace sitting area. The staff are friendly and the upstairs is full of interesting history. This is a great venue for a small gathering.

  A large old mansion with old world charm and hospitality. The beds are so comfortable you may not want to get up! The linens are pure luxury. The owner of the mansion was here and most welcoming. The staff love their jobs and it shows. Their attention to details is impressive as is their respect and integrity.

  We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time at the Blaylock Mansion. It was definitely an experience that we will look forward to again. Michelle and Mark were lovely personable hosts that we enjoyed talking to. Michelle is an amazing chef; our first breakfast - Eggs Benedict was to die for!! Note, breakfast is $15/day per person. The house itself is beautiful, huge, comfortable, and relaxing. One afternoon it was raining, we snuggled up on a big comfy chair and watched a couple movies from their large selection (DVD, Netflix, Crave, etc.). We went for a dip in the beautiful pool, played a little tennis (rackets were nice but new balls were needed), had a short basketball game, took a rest in the hammock, and went for a lovely stroll in the gardens. The archive room was fun to peruse and Michelle answered any other questions we had about the mansion and Mr. Blaylock. Such a great experience!
